The Murray River History Cruise is an exciting overnight cruise on board the PS Marion. Passengers can take a step back in time onboard the Marion which is a fully restored heritage vessel built in 1900 and could relive the lives of many that held the Murray so close and the lifeline it provided.
As we cruise guest speakers will entertain you each day with historic themed stories from the Nganguraku people, golden days of paddlesteamers, trade on the Murray and the 1956 flood. This cruise will provide passengers with an amazing array of the rich river history of the Murraylands region.
Relax and enjoy the passing river scenery and listen to the slap of the paddles.
Off shore activities include visits to Mannum and Swan Reach Museums, Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park and Big Bend by Night Nocturnal Tour
