Step back in time and join the Heritage Paddle Steamers cruising to celebrate with PS Melbourne (100 years) in Mildura. PS Ruby (105 years), PS Marion and PS Industry will steam up the Murray to join her.
You might go below and watch the engine cranks turning mesmerically or stay on deck to see the outback from the river. One of the steamer’s great tricks is that within a few minutes it can take you from an outback town to the junction of Australia’s two longest rivers then on into the heart of one of its most intricate and beautiful river settings, and give you companionship as well as food and drink, and shelter from the sun or the rain.
